Abstract

Arcus senilis is a fatty deposit on the peripheral corneal stroma, which often occurs in older individuals. This study aims to evaluate the picture of Arcus Senilis patients in presbyopia patients at Ita Optikal, Central Lampung. This descriptive study involved 213 presbyopia patients examined during the period January to June 2024. Demographic data and health history are obtained from secondary data. The results showed that Arcus Senilis was most common in individuals aged 50-60 years (56.5%) with a higher prevalence in women (58%). These findings confirm the link between age, sex, and the risk of Arcus Senilis. The importance of regular eye exams to detect and prevent further complications is emphasized in this study.
