In this research, the author wants to get results regarding the effect of using corrective glasses on sports activities in the 2021 UIN Jakarta Law Study Program. This scientific paper uses quantitative methods with validity, reliability, normality analysis, simple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis analysis. The population of this research was students from the Legal Sciences Study Program at UIN Jakarta class of 2021. Using a purposive sampling method, 55 samples were obtained that met the inclusion criteria. The results of the analysis in this study show that all the questions on variable X and variable Y in the questionnaire meet the requirements or pass the instrument test. The results of the simple linear regression test and hypothesis in this study produced quite high values. Has an influence value of 86% from the use of corrective glasses on sports activities. It can be concluded that there is a significant influence from the use of corrective glasses on sports activities.
2025-02-22T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Jurnal Optometri https://ejournal.aroleprindo.ac.id/index.php/jro/article/view/19 Gambaran Penderita Arcus Senilis Pada Pasien Presbiopia Di Ita Optikal Lampung Tengah Tahun 2024 2025-02-22T14:21:54+00:00 Mohammad Husein huseinmandala@gmail.com M. One of the most common visual disorders is refractive errors, such as myopia. Genetic factors and reading habits under poor lighting conditions can influence myopia progression, especially among adolescents (10-19 years old). Blue light from electronic devices can exacerbate eye conditions. Anti-blue ray lenses can help reduce the negative impact of blue light. This study aims to determine the effect of education on purchasing decisions of anti-blue ray lenses among adolescent myopia sufferers at Optik RIKRIK Tangerang. The research method uses a quantitative approach with a descriptive analytic research design. The study sample consisted of 30 respondents selected using a simple random sampling method. The results show that education has a significant influence on the purchasing decision of anti-blue ray lenses, with a t-value (12.127) greater than the t-table value (2.0494), thus H1 is accepted. Effective education has been proven to increase consumer awareness regarding the benefits of anti-blue ray lenses.
2025-02-22T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Jurnal Optometri https://ejournal.aroleprindo.ac.id/index.php/jro/article/view/21 Perbandingan Hasil Pemeriksaan Visus Dengan E-Chart dan Landolt Ring Pada Anak Paud dan TK Kecamatan Lakarsantri Surabaya Tahun 2024 2025-03-01T13:58:56+00:00 Darmono darmono.ok@gmail.com Wahyu Hendro kusumo wahyu.hendro.0406@gmail.com Nova Joko Pamungkas novajoko6@gmail.com
Visual impairment in children can significantly affect their quality of life and achievement through various multidimensional implications. Timely visual acuity testing is essential, especially considering the high prevalence of this condition among children. This study aims to compare the effectiveness of two methods of visual acuity testing, namely E chart and Landolt Ring, in children. This method is expected to provide a deeper understanding of the effectiveness and relevance of optotype use in the context of children’s visual acuity testing. This study is expected to provide an important contribution in developing a more effective and sensitive approach to visual acuity testing for children during their growth and development.
This quantitative study was conducted to compare the effectiveness of two methods of visual acuity testing, E chart and Landolt Ring, in children aged 3-6 years in PAUD and TK, Lakarsantri District, Surabaya. The research method used is quantitative with a population of all students aged 3-6 years in PAUD and TK. The research sample of 102 students was selected using purposive sampling in the period February-April 2024. Primary data were collected through direct observation by conducting visual acuity testing using E chart and Landolt Ring. Data analysis was carried out through observation techniques to measure the speed of optotype identification in both methods.
Research results Based on the output in the Independent Sample Test table, it is known that the results of the T-test (comparison of 2 variables) in Sig. (2-tailed) showed 0.000 on the E-Chart test results for the right and left eyes. And 0.000 on the Landolt Ring test results for the right and left eyes. Where in this case there has been an agreement that the results of Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) if it is less than 0.05 then it is stated that there is a comparison or difference and if it is greater than 0.05 it is stated that there is no comparison or difference.
The conclusion that can be drawn is that the duration of visual examination results using the E chart produces better results than the Landolt ring. So e charts can be chosen more effectively for visual inspection in children aged 3-6 years.
2025-02-22T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Jurnal Optometri https://ejournal.aroleprindo.ac.id/index.php/jro/article/view/22 Gambaran Penggunaan Nasho Instant Anti-Fog Terhadap Suhu Ruangan Pada Siswa Sekolah Menengah Nusantara Ciputat Tahun 2024 2025-03-04T09:11:08+00:00 Wirawan Setyaka wirawansetyaka521@gmail.com Muhammad Randani randani2107@gmail.com Tika Nurta Jaya tikanurtajaya@gmail.com Rara Parameswari raraparameswari@gmail.com
The Nasho Instant Anti Fog product is a protective coating solution specifically designed for eyeglass lenses to prevent fogging when exposed to temperature changes, such as moving from cold air to a warm room.
